Who doesn't want to look up in the sky and see an engagement ring?
The Engagement Ring in the Sky
The planetary nebula Abell 33 has aligned in a way that people at the Europeans Southern Observatory can see an image that looks like an engagement ring. Abell 33 aligned with the star HD 83535 to create the image.
This image is very rare considering that planetary nebulas are never symmetrical.

Unfortunately the stars are 2,500 light years away so we won't be getting our hands on it any time soon but we hope some romantic onlooker takes advantage of the rare site and uses it for a unique proposal!
