Celebrate Fall With Autumn-Colored Jewelry

Now that it’s October, fall has officially fallen. It’s time to anticipate the pleasures of autumn. Jewelry from Ben David captures the brilliant reds and golds of the turning leaves. So let’s dress to match the season.
Here are a few of our favorite things about fall:
Apples! Pears! It’s harvest time. Do you have a local harvest fest? Celebrate by tasting the apple harvest. Make pear sauce or a mug of hot cider. Don’t forget the cinnamon and cloves.
Get cozy. Time to get out that special heirloom quilt and cozy up the bed. Shake out your sweaters, find your favorite gloves, drape a soft scarf around your neck. Boot weather is here! If you have a fireplace in your house, stock up on wood.
The raking workout. Who needs the gym when your yard is full of leaves? Get family and friends together for a group raking workout. Many hands make light work. Capture that rosy glow in your cheeks that will make your jewelry sparkle even more!
Family times. The holidays are coming. What fun things will you do with family and friends to celebrate? Christmas caroling? Decorating the house for Hanukah? Whatever your tradition, think about how to create special times with your special people.
Smells of autumn. Wood smoke and rain. Leaves crushed underfoot. The crisp air and turning leaves bring along that special fall smell. Breathe it in.
Goodwill towards humankind. Have you ever volunteered to serve a Thanksgiving meal to the needy? Maybe you can organize your office to buy gifts for disadvantaged children. Everybody can find somebody less fortunate to help. Sharing your love just makes your love grow bigger.
Letting Go. As the leaves fall from the trees, maybe you can let go of a few things, too. Do you have too much stuff in your house? Donate useful goods to your favorite charity. Do you have negative patterns in your life that no longer serve you? Animosity or resentments towards people? Let that fall away, too, so you can lighten your heart and let more love and happiness in.
